K-factor’s VAR-1NR10 series single-phase voltage variators are made up of high-quality variable toroidal transformers, whose regulation occurs through a DC motor controlled by a microprocessor electronic system.

A carbon brush rotates along the surface contact of the toroid with a rotation that allows a gradual and continuous variation of the output voltage from AC-2-3V to 250Vac. The maximum effective no-load voltage decreases by a few volts due to the mechanical and electrical block imposed by the limit switch.

The system also powers the engine which, therefore, does not require auxiliary power.

The stabilized output voltage is regulated via a 0:10Vdc input or a potentiometer (not supplied), and by modbus-RTU.
